My name is Amanda and I am on team 9A at Liberty Junior High School. Some things I enjoy in life are hanging out with friends, singing and listening to music. On the newspaper staff this year, I am one of the two photo editors and I am looking forward to showing my work. I’m excited for my freshman year and hope it’s as fun as eighth grade was.

Here in Liberty we’ve gotten a lot of rain lately. Gardeners are ecstatic by how many days it has rained in these past two weeks. Music talent such as OkGo, an alternative rock band, does not come along very often. The nation was astounded with Here It Goes Again, a music video performed entirely on treadmills.
