My name is Amanda and I am on team 9A at Liberty Junior High School. Some things I enjoy in life are hanging out with friends, singing and listening to music. On the newspaper staff this year, I am one of the two photo editors and I am looking forward to showing my work. I’m excited for my freshman year and hope it’s as fun as eighth grade was.

Greetings! I’m Madi Hayter. I’m a freshman at LJHS, on team 9A. I have a family of 5, my parents, my sister, my dachshund and I. I am the youngest in my family, my sister (Morgan, 16) is a Junior at Liberty High School. I am involved in Breakfast Club, as well as Newspaper. Photography is something that I enjoy doing. On the Newspaper staff I am the Photo Editor. I love Pokḗmon. Squirtle was my first Pokḗmon. Concerts are something I love going to. Traveling is something I love to do as well; I have traveled as far as China before.

Hey, this is Jacob Taber.

I am an above average student on 9A, and I play soccer for Liberty High School. I am part of the LJHS newspaper staff as the sports editor. I am a big fan of sports and like Sporting KC, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Kansas Jayhawks. Being a fan of sports makes me a competitive person, so I like to compete in any way I can. I also enjoy writing very much, which is why I am on the newspaper staff for LJHS. I like to travel, but I don’t do it much. My favorite trip was probably to Hawaii.

Hello, my name is Zach Kilgas, and I am in Student Council and the Editor for the Newspaper. My favorite thing to do is swim. Right now I swim competitively on Storm. Also I enjoy going fishing, as well as traveling. Some cool places I’ve been to are Las Vegas (I stayed at Caesars Palace) and Louisiana. Some places I would like to go to are: New York, London, Rome, and Sydney. I look forward to this school year.

My name is Isabelle Brown.  I am on team 9B at Liberty Junior High School.  Some things that I enjoy outside of school are doing art projects, acting, writing, being outside, and hanging out with friends and family. My favorite subject in school is Comm Arts because I love to write and be creative (obviously).  I live with my parents, and my four siblings, and also my dog. I look forward to being on the newspaper staff and I can’t wait to start!

Greetings, I am Stephanie, opinion editor. I enjoy writing, especially with my pal Hannah, in which our stories end up quite interesting. Communication Arts is one of my favorite subjects, because I love to read, along with writing. In my free time, I run for multiple miles. I love to run; I am on the cross country team, which acquires all of my free time. I also play basketball and soccer; both I play on teams outside school, and on the school team. I have my permit already, and haven’t driven on the highway, or anywhere that isn’t secluded… yet. I play the flute and piano; but I learned how to play the flute over the summer, which makes this my first year of band. I encourage you to continue reading the LJHS Newspaper!

Hello my name is Platinum GG but you can call me Grace. I’m on 9b at LJHS. I like to play sports, tweet, and hang out with friends.  I am a member of Renaissance and Breakfast Club. I’m Sydney Perkins and I am a student here at LJHS. I am on team9A! If you go to football games, you will see me on the field because I am a Liberty Sapphire. I have been dancing for 11 years now and dance at Priscilla and Dana’s. At school, I am also in Breakfast Club and Renaissance.  I’m looking forward to be the editor for the Dabomb.com page for this year’s Liberty Legend newspaper!

Hello, I’m Olivia Brown. I am a freshman at LJHS, GO 9B! I enjoy doing a lot of things, such as painting and being a member of the Liberty North Women’s Golf Team. I love to watch the shows Toddlers and Tiaras, Grey’s Anatomy and Dance Moms, but my all time favorite would have to be Spongebob Squarepants. I hope to one day be a chef. I was born and raised here in Liberty, though the rest of my family was born in Kentucky. I am the youngest of four siblings, Alex and Grace are my two sisters (16, 18) and Casey is my one brother (26), I also have two beautifully old parents, Chris and Mitzi. The most important people in my family are my two dogs. Their names are Simba and Daisey. A fun fact about me is that I look like an exact twin to my oldest sister, Alex, and I never get tired of hearing it…

Hola! Me llamo Hannah Milks!

A little about me: I Dance, and have done dance sense I was three.  And i’m testing for my black belt in taekwondo this November. I have two cats Jazzy, and Trixie. Trixie enjoys sleeping on my face, pawing me in the eye, and meowing very loudly at three am. Jazzy is queen of the house, no question about it. I once bought a veiled chameleon off of craigslist, his name was Cam. He died after a year:(

In school i’m on team 9B . I’m on the schools student council team, and usually am involved in the plays and musicals. Shout out to my friend Stephanie Boan, who is also on the newspaper team!  I’m ready to get this year going (and for summer to roll around.)
