Among the halls of LJHS, there’s a rumor that someone has a talent like no other. When I went to check it out I couldn’t believe my eyes. Emmy Gregory makes jewelry, not just any jewelry, but jewelry that will never go out of style.
When asked about the rumor, Emmy responded “Yes, I make jewelry.” And she sells it! You can buy timeless jewelry from Emmy Gregory. No more throwing out old jewelry because it’s not in style, you can wear this stuff forever.
Emmy says it’s so much fun to make jewelry and share with friends, and it’s easy! “I do it on my own, with wires and pliers, it usually only takes an hour to make one.” Emmy has been doing it for almost two years now and she says its a really good way to express herself. I asked one of Emmy’s best friends, Sam Heston, if she had ever bought any jewelry, she said “No, I’ve never bought any, but I have a lot from like birthday parties and stuff.” She also said Emmy spends a lot of her time making jewelry for her friends.
I asked Nina Hawkins, Jessica Hilburn, Sydney Wehmeyer, Nicole Rainey, and Mackenzie Herrman if they would buy Emmy’s jewelry and they all said yes! Emmy Gregory has such an amazing and unique talent that everyone should try.
